JSA wins masterplan projects for Lowestoft’s Towns Fund programme

As part of its £25 million Towns Fund project, East Suffolk Council has appointed JSA to deliver two contingent masterplans for Lowestoft. The project will focus on the town’s North and South Heritage Action Zones. The emerging masterplans will be based on a heritage-driven approach to regeneration that will enhance Lowestoft’s public realm and support its regeneration. JSA Director Jon Sheaff commented: ‘Lowestoft is a remarkable conglomeration of differences – part traditional seaside town, part historic fishing port, part sunrise industry hub. The appetite for change in the town is remarkable and it’s a real privilege to have the opportunity to harness local energy and to support the positive changes to Lowestoft’s townscape that will be delivered over the next decade.’
